Man’s waistcoat. Foreparts: white figured silk embroidered wilk polychrome silk ribbonwork, silk, gilt-silver yarns and aprangles in floral motifs at frontline, pockets, hemline; alternating diagnol rows of green embroidered dots and spangles throughout. Single breasted. Front line slightly cut away from midline. 10 covered buttons at front. Medium stand-up collar; small stepped lapels. 2 welted pockets. White cotton back with very short vent. White silk twill lining. Condition: appears to have been let-out at side seams at later date.
