Man’s waistcoat. Foreparts: White silk embroidered with polychrome silk in small-scale floral motifs with insects at lapels, frontline, pockets, hemline; 2 engraved medallions of 2 women with 3 children below pockets. Single breasted. Square cut. 12 covered buttons at front. Stepped lapels. 2 welted pockets. White coton lining and back with 2 tabs with small iron buckles (added later).
