DescriptionLarge curtain of white cotton twill ground with design embroidered in chain stitch with polychrome silks-dark bluish-green and deep rose-red predominating; most of curtain filled with large-scale design of slender scrolling branches bearing flowers, buds, and curling leaves, insects and decorative birds in interspaces; deep border design of rocky landscape with many kinds of wild animals pursued by dogs and hunters and shepherds with their flocks; on three sides, a narrow outer border of flowering vine. Several breaks and small holes; yellowed and stained in several places.
