This is one of nineteen oval black faience discs with flat bottom and convex top, many with a glassy glaze. The top has deep parallel ridges and there is a small circular drilled out indentation in the center of the flat base, possibly for attaching with peg or adhesive (see 13.3880-13.3898.) This is a wig appliqué for a coffin. The striped pattern on top is meant to imitate hair.
