Circular medal of William Wyon (1795-1851), commissioned by the Art Union of London.

Obverse: Profile bust of William Wyon looking to proper left; inscribed at edge “WILLIAM WYON R:A:” and under bust “L.C.WYON”.

Reverse: Beaded edge; standing female over four horses in water, wearing a helmet and holding a trident in her proper right hand and a branch in her proper left hand; inscribed below “L.C.WYON SC.” and in exergue “ART-UNION OF LONDON/1854/-.-/W.WYON R.A. DES.”.
