Obverse: Bust of Hogarth looking to proper left; inscribed at proper right “HOGARTH” and under bust “L.WYON”.

Reverse: Man at center flanked by a man on each side presenting to him a paper; inscribed above “HE THROUGH THE EYE CORRECTS THE HEART”, below “HOGARTH DES. and “L.WYON SC.”, and in exergue “ART-UNION OF LONDON/1848”.

Inscription

Obverse: Inscribed at proper right "HOGARTH" and under bust "L.WYON".
