The cup rests on a slightly conical foot that has a stamped fluted border and flat-chased decoration in a rayed patter emanating from the juncture of the stem. The U-shaped cup is supported on a tall baluster stem. A flat-chased pattern on the underside of the cup echoes the decoration on the foot. The sides of the cup have flat-chased flowers in scrolling foliage against a matted ground. The foot and body of cup are raised. The stem is cast in two pieces with a vertical seam. The foot is strengthened by an applied stamped wire.
