DescriptionCorset. Lavender-gray ribbed moiré silk, edged with gray silk ribbon, embroidered with maroon and crimson silk thread. Maroon lace trim. Crimson back lacing. Metal eyelets and stiffening. Initials "A" and "B" embroidered on front. Worn by Augusta Carolina Bonzagni (née Costa) of Boston. Condition: Excellent. Some wear on silk at edges of metal stiffening. Slight greenish stains from metal fastenings at front.
