DescriptionBrisé-type fan with 25 ivory stocks, white silk connecting ribbon. Obverse: gold lacquered design of two quail under millet, stream, landscape with house beyond. Reverse: gold lacquered and incrusted ivory figures with painted details; boy with vessel, boy with fishing net, boy on stilts, boy leading turtle by cord, woman with fan (left to right). Gold lacquer with painted details of bird and vegetation on guards. Blue and white double tassel with gold lacquer and painted ivory ball depends from lacquered steel ring with black painted scrollwork.
