DescriptionPurple shot silk day dress with V-neck front and back and dolman sleeves. "Fichu" of ivory cotton wraps around shoulders and waist. Pleated purple taffeta band along hem of skirt with four large silk roses at front, back, left and right sides.

Condition: fair; silk severely split under arms; small holes in skirt and bodice; sleeve cuffs slit; some staining, tearing, abrasion, weft displacement; "fichu" detached from bodice
