Woman's evening dress in three parts (overdress, skirt, and belt)

Black silk jersey overdress and floor-length skirt; overdress, lined with silk and gathered at waist, can be draped in a variety of ways. Dress was originally white, overdyed black by Stahl(?), Boston. Wide shaped belt of black suede appliqued with gilt leather in an abstract pattern; fastens with metal snaps. Stamped "Lord & Taylor."
