Dress in two parts; black taffetta with woven border of rose and white stripes used for flounces on skirt and trimming on bodice; bodice (a) high-waisted, buttoned down the front finished wtih peplum, long sleeves; skirt (b) with four deep flounces; flounces and trimming on bodice edged with rose, white and black silk fringe; small round buttons of rose and black silk. Worn by Mrs. Abbott Lawrence.
