Woman’s domestic formal surcoat (waitao) with design of cosmic mountain and waves, above which are floral roundels and scattered flowers couched in gold-wrapped thread on a dark blue silk satin ground; center front opening with gold metal button and silk loop closure; lined with light blue plain-weave silk.
