Han woman’s domestic semi-formal coat (ao) in dark blue velvet embroidered with design of “The One Hundred Antiques” in shades of red, green, blue, yellow, purple, gold, orange and white silk embroidery and couched gold-wrapped thread; trimmed with purple and brown silk with gilt paper strip supplementary patterning wefts; plain round gold metal buttons and black silk button loops; lined with pale yellow plain-weave silk.
