Woman’s domestic surcoat (waitao) in dark blue satin with design of loosely arranged roundels of peonies, birds and bats embroidered in pinks, red, white, green, yellow and blue silk; lined with light blue silk damask. Pheasants and other birds, plum blossoms, pine, bamboo. Center front closure. Neck band missing.
