Sleeveless wrap-around (surplice) dress of black machine-made rayon(?) lace in pattern of leaves and spider webs. High waist, pleated bodice, neckline and shoulder straps edged with pleated net, long lace ties/sash. Dress has matching wrap-around slip of black silk crepe with ties and straps of silk satin ribbon; label: “An original design registered by a member of Fashion Originators Guild #410”
