Woman’s head cloth (bochini) of violet plain-weave silk, embroidered in chain stitch and buttonhole stitch, with various shades of cream silk, with design in main field of large central floral medallion, half medallions and narrow scalloped repeat along the outer edge and eight smaller floral medallions in between, some of which are connected by narrow, segmented bands; two crosswise borders with design of row of stylized cone-shaped plant motifs composed of circular shapes embroidered in various shades of cream silk; lined with silk pongee.
