A black satin jacket with high standing collar, hooked down center front, fitted snugly at waist, and flaring below waist, short peplum center back above skirt opening, cut to adapt the style of an 18th century man’s coat with deep pocket flaps, deep turned back cuffs on long sleeves, sleeves full and puffed at shoulder seam; black satin embroidered with yellow and green silks in all-over spray of four petalled blossom, folds of yellow satin under edges of black satin in center front to suggest waistcoat, cuffs of yellow satin, all edges embroidered with black silk braid and yellow piettes in highly stylized floral design.
