Hip length jacket with center front closure and slits at side. Back of jacket and sleeves embroidered and appliquéd with polychrome bands of geometric designs and silver bosses, white shirt buttons, and glass beads.
Condition: good, red appliquéd cotton bands faded.

Provenance

Acquired by the donor from the estate of Ruth Weil. Ms. Weil's husband, Joe Hodnick, purchased the jacket on his travels in Thailand in the 1960s.
