Rayon commemorative scarf features, radiating out from the center, a cardinal directions compass with helmeted head and string of banners in a roundel of yellow, blue loosely sketched clouds, structures from the festival, light blue-turquoise border. “Festival of Britain 1951” rounds the compass in cursive. Four of the structures are named in the scarf’s corners, reading: “Shot Tower”, “Sky Pointer”, Royal Festival Hall”, and “Pavillion 1851”. Besides yellow, blue and red are used sparingly. No label.
