DescriptionBright red English cotton, covered with a powder of open flower forms and leaves embroidered with bright green cotton and buttonhole and chain stitches. Narrow borders of triangualar and leaf forms surround the whole piece and the wide borders on the ends, the design of which consists of very conventional ovate plant forms and triangles edged on two sides with leaf-like forms. A white open chain stitch finishes the borders. Only part of this piece is shown in the photograph.
