Red wool cape embroidered in chain stitched yellow and white silk threads in paisley or boteh pattern; open down front with hook and eye closure, high round neck, center back cut in fitted lines in “princesse” style, fronts cut flaring toward lower edge which come to deep point in center, long rectangular panels over arms; lined with white silk twill, entire lower edge finished with purple, gold, and gray-green silk tassels; machine-stitched seams along front opening
