DescriptionWoman's suit in 8 parts: (d) full length A-line skirt, (e) narrow belt, and (a, b, c) three bodices. Silk warp-dyed fabric with delicate red/green flowers, blue/brown bands/stripes. (c) Evening bodice with short full sleeve, green velvet around arm hole, (a) pleated chiffon and 2 tier scoop neck collar day bodice with long full-sleeve, pleated cutwork cotton, high collar with ruffled cravat. (b) Third bodice of chiffon, lace and velvet, and (e) belt reconstructed at a later date (no label). Other parts include (f) sash and (g, h) two extra skirt panels.
