Woman’s suit in the style of a riding habit (jacket and skirt). Brown silk damask, cuffs and jacket pockets trimmed in tulle and lace. Short pleated ruffle on skirt. Good condition, skirt unseamed in places.

Provenance

Worn by donor's grandmother, Mrs. Eban Sumner Draper (Nannie Bristow) of Hopedale, MA - wife of the Governor of Massachusetts in 1910.
