Woman’s suit consisting of a jacket, lace collar, skirt, and belt. White and brown wool twill jacket with oversized brown lapel trimmed with brown braid. Three frog-like closures under lapel with three brown and tan plastic (?) buttons. Oversized cuffs with silk braid and two buttons. Interior is lined with white silk plain weave, snaps around interior lapel for lace collar. White woven label with green lettering at center back reads: “1410 Spruce St/Brooks/Philadelphia.” Collar with pastoral scenes of a sheppard leaning against a rock, under a tree, holding a sheep. Bordered with a flowered vine and trimmed with lace. Long, narrow brown and tan twill skirt with hip panels trimmed with brown silk braid, eleven snaps around rear left hip panel. Interior waistband has twill and plain weave ribbons with three snaps. Tan silk lining at center back. Brown and tan twill weave with brown silk bow shape at center front looped through a metal belt buckle, three hook and eye closures attach silk to wool.
