DescriptionParsi woman's sleeveless tunic of purple silk with overall design of stylized flowers and border design at neck, arm holes, across shoulders and at bottom edge of elaborate floral motifs embroidered primarily in cream with accents in red and yellow; neck binding and ties of red satin. Probably embroidered by Chinese artists living in the port city of Surat in the state of Gujarat.
