Parsi woman’s tunic of indigo blue silk with overall design of flower and bird motifs embroidered in cream cotton and border design around the neck, arm holes, across the shoulders and at the bottom edge is a repeating pattern of floral and bird motifs embroidered in cream cotton; neck binding and ties of dark blue silk satin. Probably embroidered by Chinese artists living in the port city of Surat in the state of Gujarat.
