Parsi woman’s tunic of dark blue silk gauze with overall design of small floral motifs embroidered in white silk and border design around the neck, arm holes, across the shoulders and bottom edge of repeating floral and bird motifs embroidered in white silk with accents in violet and pale yellow. Probably embroidered by Chinese artists living in the port city of Surat in the state of Gujarat.
