DescriptionParsi woman's blouse of dark silk gauze ground with overall pattern of large dots embroidered in white silk and border design around the neck, arm holes, across the shoulders and the bottom edge of repeating flower and leaf motif embroidered in white silk; neck binding and ties of pinkish-red plain-weave silk. Probably embroidered by Chinese artists living in the port city of Surat in the state of Gujarat.
