上人は因州の人にて/懐胎のうち母を苦しめければ/不祥の子なりとて山中に捨てさしむ/しかれども鳥獣もこれを害せず/三日乳を呑まざれども死せず/村人拾ひあげて養育しに/十五才の時叡山に登りて剃髪せしが/母の死を聞て当山に来り/その練行/言語に尽がたく/聊名利を好まず/唯観音を信ずるのみなれば/此山の主阿知坂神/雇夫と現し/又数万の猪鹿来って岩窟を砕き/凸凹を平地とせし奇異のありさま/天子へ聞へければ/遂に佛閣を御建立ありけり/上人山にすむこと七十四年/承徳三年三月定印を結びて百十七才にて寂すれども/更に其容体変ぜざれば諸人いよいよ尊び拝せり/體の腐せざる者は越後の弘智法印のごとくにして/めでたき聖なるを疑ふべからず
