This bowl is quite tall in height. A lotus petal design on the outside of the bowl was employed using incising and carving techniques. The deep grooves created when carving the lotus petal attracted large amounts of glaze, with the darker hue created in theses grooves giving the piece its multidimensional effect. A bright green glaze was applied all over the bowl.
