Responsible for sales, merchandising, stocking, and other retail duties in the book department. Specific duties include answering customer inquiries, retrieving and stocking new books on a daily basis, maintaining bookstore inventory, creating displays and ringing the cash register. Varied shifts available including day, evening, weekend and holiday hours.
Position requires a high energy level, strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to provide excellent customer service. Retail bookselling experience is required and knowledge and interest in art strongly desired. Flexible availability preferred. Must be able to work during holiday periods.
