Reporting to the Director, Development Operations and Analysis, the Development Operations Assistant supports the Museum's fundraising operation by processing and recording gifts and pledges to the Museum. Responsibilities include: receiving and preparing gifts for deposit to the Financial office; recording and posting gifts to the donor database; scanning donor documentation; maintaining and retrieving digital files; generating gift receipts; routing gift information to Financial and Development staff; maintaining the integrity of computer donor records (including address and financial information); performing data adjustments as necessary.
This position requires great attention to detail and accuracy, strong computer and database skills, comfort in dealing with financial information, and the ability to handle confidential information.
