Development Assistant, Gifts of Art

Under the direction of the Director, Gifts of Art, the development assistant will provide general administrative and project support for the Gifts of Art Program. Primary responsibilities include: calendar management, drafting correspondence and acknowledgement letters, updating electronic donor records, document filing and scanning, managing the logistics for large mailings, and maintaining relevant sections of the Museum’s website. Will coordinate logistics for all Gifts of Art-related stewardship and cultivation events throughout the year and process RSVPs for these and other departmental events. Will respond to Gifts of Art program inquiries and review incoming mail, assess inquiries to determine necessary staff follow-up, and monitor same.

Bachelor's degree, along with 1 to 3 years of related experience required. Excellent organizational and communication skills, great attention to detail, and solid computer skills required. Ability to multi-task, prioritize assignments and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
