Under the direction of the Director, Stewardship and Events, the Development Officer, Stewardship will implement and support a comprehensive donor stewardship program to acknowledge, recognize and involve donors of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Primary responsibilities will include reporting on named funds and other donor-funded projects, maintaining the fund database, developing donor relation strategies, creating and maintaining recognition systems, and supporting and/or coordinating recognition events and activities.
Bachelor’s degree required, along with 3-5 years of experience in donor relations or the development field preferred. Excellent writing, interpersonal, organizational and information-gathering skills. Creative and strategic thinking skills required. Ability to synthesize and convey relevant financial information. Knowledge and comfort using various relational databases and other software applications.
