Under the supervision of the Admissions Manager, the MFA Guide Lead will assist with the supervision and operation of Gund Gallery audio tour sales. Essential functions include: provide supervisory coverage for Gund Gallery MFA Guide sales staff; actively engage visitors to use the MFA guide, processing sales of guides in an efficient manner and according to proper procedure; sell Guides during Gund special exhibition; coordinate with Admissions Manager and IT to address any needed adjustments in equipment charging and repair; periodically work with IT to conduct usability studies to improve the visitor experience using MFA Guides.

Associate degree (Bachelor preferred), along with 1 to 2 years of experience supervising or managing staff. In addition to proven sales and supervisory experience, the ideal candidate will have the following characteristics, experience and training: excellent communication skills; engaging personality; strict attention to detail; cash handling experience; computer proficiency; ability to perform well under pressure; ability to stand for extended periods of time; ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to work occasional evenings.
