Perform a variety of security and security-related duties for the safety and security of people and property. According to established schedules and standard operating procedures, prevent and deter theft and damage to the MFA collection, exhibits and other Museum property by the public, staff and elements. Provide information and assistance to Museum visitors. Direct visitors and staff during emergencies.

Three months experience and strong customer service and interpersonal skills required, with a knowledge of security procedures preferred. Physical requirements include standing and walking for long periods of time.

Schedule:  24 hrs/wk; Sat&Sun, 8am-4:40pm and Wed. 3:30-12am
