Supervisor, Protective Services

Assist Protective Services Managers with overseeing teams of Museum Security Officers who are responsible for a zone of galleries and/or public spaces within the Museum. Ensure that standards of conduct, policies, rules and guidelines are met and promote departmental values. Open and close Museum as directed. Respond to and direct staff and visitors during emergencies including medical, fire and evacuation. Exhibit excellent leadership and customer service skills.

One to three years security experience, including supervisory and employee relations, required. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Computer skills and strong writing skills for report documentation required.
