Explore Art!

The children’s program includes weekly Saturday classes, Sunday classes and workshops, and school vacation classes. Groups of up to 12 children (grouped by age) discover new places and cultures, visit our galleries, and draw, paint, sculpt, collage, and print.

Making art in the studio

Using inspiration from the gallery visit, work on projects in the studio,

Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, and Red

Contemporary art is fun! The artwork was inspired by the artist Ellsworth Kelly.

Create art together!

The Preschool Program is designed for children ages 4-5, who are accompanied by an adult. A great opportunity for you and your child!

Summer and school vacation week classes

Weekly Journeys through Art consist of a four- or five-day, morning or afternoon course that focuses on a specific theme for children. Themes include Art of Africa, Art of Asia, Art of the Americas, Creatures of the MFA, Toy Making, Time Traveler, and more!

High sea adventures!

Children in the "Art of the Americas" theme took sail on the sea with the "Watson and the Shark" painting.

Traveling through Impressionist Art

In the "Art on the Go with Van Gough: European Journeys" theme, students sketched from Monet paintings and were inspired by Picasso's artwork.
