All Our Desires (Toutes nos envies) by Philippe Lioret (2011, 120 min.). Claire (Marie Gillain) is a young judge who helps a friend argue the questionable practices of credit card companies. When Claire learns she has a terminal brain tumor, she enlists the help of another judge Stéphane (Vincent Lindon). Knowing it will be her last case, Claire becomes obsessed with helping her friend, ignoring her family and her failing health. Heartfelt performances by Lindon and Gillain propel this touching drama.
