The Art of Love (L’art d’aimer) by Emmanuel Mouret (2011, 85 min.). This lovely ensemble comedy explores several components of a modern romance: patience, desire, deception, modesty, and uncertainty. Five Parisian couples deflect, complicate, and accept love, coming to terms with their feelings in humorous and inventive ways. In one young couple’s relationship, the woman is permitted to sleep with a co-worker provided there are no feelings involved.
