Free Men by Ismaël Ferroukhi (France, 2011, 99 min.). Younes, a black marketer in German-occupied Paris, is arrested but given an ultimatum: He can avoid jail if he spies on a Parisian mosque suspected of helping resistance fighters and Jews. Younes accepts and at the mosque he befriends Salim Halali, only to discover his new friend is Jewish. Despite the risks, Younes stops collaborating with the police and becomes a freedom fighter.
