Abu Sa’ed, a policeman with the Palestinian National Authority, tries to live a normal lifein a divided city. “Uptown,” in the Palestinian-administered zone where he works, he wields authority as a policeman; though “downtown,” where his is one of the few Palestinian families remaining in the Israeli military-controlled area, he must remove his uniform and accept invisibility and powerlessness. Despite the hard reality, this documentary explores his family’s hopes and dreams.
