I’m Not Him (Ben O Değilim) by Tayfun Pirselimoğlu (2013, 127 min.). Middle-aged, unmarried loner Nihat works in a hospital cafeteria. When his young colleague Ayşe invites him to her house for dinner, he accepts despite rumors that her husband, Necip, is in jail for a serious offense. When Nihat sees a wedding photograph, he notices that he bears a strong resemblance to Ayşe’s imprisoned husband. The awkward relationship that ensues changes Nihat’s life more profoundly than he could have foreseen.

A discussion with the director follows the screening.
