The Labyrinth (Labirent) by Tolga Örnek (2012, 124 min.). A group of Turkish intelligence officers race against the clock to stop a terrorist attack. The operation, nicknamed “Labyrinth,” is led by Fikret, a veteran, and Reyhan, a single mother. A well-crafted political thriller that “…excels in providing a point of view that does not reduce the Mideast conflict to a good vs. evil…it is more of a pendulum that provides many vantage points of global politics and treats its subject matter with reflection and inquiry,” (Today’s Zaman).
