Laputa: Castle in the Sky by Hayao Miyazaki (1986, 124 min.).  A young girl with a mysterious crystal pendant falls out of the sky and into the arms and life of young Pazu. Together they search for a floating island in the sky—the site of a dead civilization that promises wealth and power to those who can unlock its secrets.

This screening replaces Whispers of the Heart.  Tickets are available at any MFA ticket desk.
