My Worst Nightmare (Mon pire cauchemar) by Anne Fontaine (2011, 99 min.). Agathe (Isabelle Huppert) is uptight, serious, and impatient. Patrick (Benoît Poelvoorde) is, well, not a Type A personality. Agathe only interacts when Patrick out of necessity: their sons are friends, and he’s been hired by her husband to renovate their expensive Parisian apartment. Slowly Agathe warms up to Patrick’s presence, even accepting a date to go to IKEA, but their relationship is anything but ordinary. Huppert and Poelvoorde make a wonderful comedic duo as their opposing personalities try to meet in the middle with hilarious results.

The Museum opens 30 minutes before the screening.
