Out in the Night by Blair Dorosh-Walther (2014, 75 min.). A group of young African American lesbians are out in New York City when an older man violently confronts them. They fight back. With radios blasting out warning of a gang attack, police swarm to the scene and charge the women with gang assault, assault, and attempted murder. Called a “Gang of Killer Lesbians” by the media, the women are known in activist circles as the New Jersey 4. Be inspired by the story of their determined fight for justice.
