Life as a Fable - A Narrative (Bir Hayati Masal Gibi Anlatmak)by Hüseyin Karabey (2012, 34 min.). Jülide Kural, famous for her role as “Ipek” in the Turkish TV series Super Dad, dreamed of portraying Frida Kahlo on stage. Initially unaware of their similarities, Kural discovered that Kahlo, like herself, struggled with spiritual and physical pain, but also had a passion for life. This film covers this eight-year-long story, from the rehearsals of the play Frida Kahlo Yasasin Hayat (Frida Kahlo Long Live Life!) to the present.
