Singing Women (Sarki Söyleyen Kadinlar) by Reha Erdem (2013, 128 min.). An unlikely group of troubled women struggle with their various trials, united by extraordinary reserves of energy, courage, hope, and faith. As the women transform their tragedy with songs of rebellion and life, they also infect the frustrated Adem, a child who has never grown up, with the joys of being alive and human.
